JPSS Billet Bushings
When rubber or urethane bushings aren't good enough, we choose to use billet bushings. JPSS Billet Bushings are made of aluminum, Delrin or various forms of nylon. They are precision manufactured for virtually perfect fit and set a new standard for performance. The first step in the process is to laser cut or water-jet the part.
The laser or water-jet cut part moves to machining where a digitally programmed CNC machine goes to work.
Next is hand finishing.
The end result is a JPSS Billet Bushing that will deliver superior performance for years of performance driving.
Billet Bushings deliver STABILITY in the front suspension geometry. They reduce dynamic caster change by limiting movement in the radius / brake tension arm. This creates a far more on center steering feel, a more responsive steering feel. These are the result of four generations of Camaro radius bushing inserts and the best, most effective to date. Install them and you'll feel the difference every time you turn the steering wheel. Like all JPSS products, return them if you are not thrilled with the performance.
Changing out the radius / brake tension arm inserts is straight forward. On the driver's side, use a small pry-bar to lift the inner plastic fender to get access to the washer bottle bolt. Remove the bolts and slide it to the side. Remove the radius arm bolt. Pull down the arm and remove the insert.
Your new Black magic Billet Bushing Inserts slide in as easily and the OE inserts came out. Use the German technical spec of Gudentight to reassemble the arm or follow the GM spec of 37 pounds and 120 degrees.
